Review 11/22/2007
A word of warning.

This company is run by a group of young people who at times lack the professionalism and concern for their hosting clients' accounts. They have been known to go into their client accounts and delete or modify files without notice until the damage has been done, which costs the owners additional expense to correct the damage. They have been known to advertise a certain bandwidth offer then cut off clients if usage is heavy; but which usage has not reached the advertised limits. They then attempt to force an upgrade sale on the client they cut off to reactivate their website. They have also been known to suspend the accounts of website owners without notice and without care as to the damage they may cause someone. It is also known, they have even hung up the telepone on customers and have refused to release website files, which prevented the owner from moving their website to a new hosting company, which destroyed their business.

These allegations against them can also be varified by a simple Google search where such search will uncover multiple websites dedicated to exposing this company and their wrongful conduct. For example, the following website:

BUYER BEWARE: http://www.diagnose-me.com/sucks/lunarpages.html

In addition, there are allegations on the above website against Lunarpages.com that it has created multiple fictitious websites and reviews giving itself positive reviews in its attempt to give a false impression that its services are being recommended by independant websites and individuals.

The people at Add2Net, Inc. d/b/a Lunarpages.com can be a very unprofessional group of young people and they are very dangerious to any company seeking to grow a web based business. Chad Riddle and Clayton are known to be two of the principals of Lunarpages.com. They have also exhibited unprofessionnal and reckless behavior toward their clients. Clayton has also been known to hang up the telephone on his clients.

A List and photos of Lunarpages employees can be viewed here:

You can read a Complaint of a recent lawsuit filed against them by one of their clients that is requesting Ten Million Dollars in damages from them.

Business's response - by ChadRon 3/2/2010
Hello DavidMe, I have read through your review here and your diagnose-me site. While my response will certainly not help with the issues you had in the past, I would like to mention that we have made drastic changes in our levels of support. Most of the reviews/links posted here in your review range from 2005-2007. I take pride in the support that my technicians provide all of our customers. Since 2005-2007, we have replaced most of our technicians with more qualified people. These qualifications include courtesy, understanding, and a willingness to help our customers. However young some of our staff may be, they are all qualified to assist our customers with any issue that may arise. If any particular issue is above any given tech’s level, we have people in place to escalate an issue to. As mentioned in a response above, if any customers are hung up on, cursed at, or treated unfairly, I would like to be contacted directly so that I may deal with the issue personally. The $10 million lawsuit (and the subsequent appeal) that is referred to here was won by Add2net, Inc. Greg Keil Customer Service Manager Lunarpages Web Hosting
