Sorry if this becomes too long, but, honestly, whatever I write here is a small slice of the nightmare that is Alhambra Nissan. I bought a used car from this dealership when they offered the best terms for the car I wanted to buy.Initially, I called and asked for information on a car listed on the Internet. For three days, they called, encouraging me to come see the car and asking me to fill out a financing application. When they told me I had been approved for a loan at a great rate, I went to see and test-drive the car, liked it and agreed to purchase it. From that moment on, they began to lie and change their offer, bringing in various other salespeople to talk to me and, when I was ready to walk out, their sales manager introduced himself. This person told me my credit was terrible, but that they would honor the terms they had offered me. They continued to play me for another couple hours, but because I had been lured by the loan they offered, I hung in for another couple hours. They spent much of that time asking for additional financial documentation, which I provided in mass quantity--bank statements, home lease title, paycheck stubs, child support payment documentation--endless!Finally, we signed all the paperwork and I drove away in the car. A week later someone in the finance department called and said they were having trouble reaching my company's human resources department, even though I had given them her direct number and name, my company's central number, and their Website address. Today, 31 days later, they demanded I return the car because they could not find a bank that would finance a loan for the purchase. According to attorneys I've spoken to, dealers have 10 days to either find appropriate financing or they must take on the loan themselves. They are not entitled to call once the ten days have passed and demand you return the car within 24 hours. These people make all the other horrible car dealer I've dealt with in buying 5 cars over the past 20 years seem like saints in comparison. This dealership should be shut down and its employees should be imprisoned. It's hard to believe that a business run as crookedly as this one can continue. Do not buy a car from this place, no matter how desperate you are or what they promise you. They are not selling cars, they are simply running an assortment of scams.
