I bought a 2009 Toyota Venza, first the car sales guy con me into buying this vehicle. The sales man told me their is no discount and then I told him I have a old car to trade in for the cash for clunkers and then he told me today is the last day for the cash for clunkers. I was pressured to buy the car and he lied to me about being the last day for the cash for clunkers. I make a $1,000 and the sales guy told me to lie and say I make $3,000 on the application just so I could get approved. Once I was approved I went to the financial office and they make me sign the contract agreement without explaining to me in detail whats on the contract and what I am paying for. They didnt tell me the low jack was optional and they added that into the contract without my knowledge. I am a first time buyer and I didnt know a car sales dealer could do this to me. I drove off with the car and the next day I reviewed the contract thoroughly and the low jack was still added on to the contract which was an extra $1,000 added to the contract. I realized I cant afford to make the monthly payments on this vehicle they sold to me. I called the car dealership and I told them I am unable to pay the monthly payments for this vehicle. They told me I cant cancel the contract even if I am dissatisfied with my purchase. I went to the dealer and talked to the manager. The manager told me they cannot cancel the contract at all once you sign the agreement. I found out that the dealership could cancel the contract but they lied to me and told me that they cant. They send me to the financial office and they told me to talk to the financial manager how to work something out with me. The financial manager talks to me and they tell me the same thing basically giving me the run around. They cant adjust any of the payments for me or remove the low jack. I think this is ridiculous. I try to find out what bank financed me and first they tell me toyota and then they tell me Bank of America. They are the worst liers Ive ever encountered at a dealership.I try to get a phone number or any kind of number from the finance dept. but they told me they don't have a number. They work with the banks so why wouldn't they have the number.
